This is a view one sees in variations through out the island of Tikehau
We sat every evening on the porch at dusk and watched this soul soothing view of Ta’aha
I can’t explain the light in this photograph. I took this image at 11:30 AM. It stands alon
The density of the water looked and felt like gold jello. I have never experienced anything like it on my visits to over sixty islands world wide.I never looked away until we touched the shore of our remote resort
Flying between Bonaire and Curacao in the Caribbean revealed this aerial view that was like an abstract painting. The dark area on the right is the shoreline. The light wavy lines are sand formations close to the water’s surface. The white formations right and upper right were the clouds below us. Nature creates pure art.
Imagine a village that exists on earth that is as beautiful and peaceful as an illustration in a fairy tale book. This is Loen, Norway. I suddenly discovered this paradise while cruising the Norwegian fjords.
One of the oldest farm communities in Norway it rests at the tip of the fjord.
Sweet little gardens give color to the green landscape.
The church built in 1838 overlooks the serenity of the village.
The pristine houses nestled on the shores of the fjord seem to welcome the stranger.
When you’re stressed or twitched, I invite you to make a show of these images in your mind. I‘ll bet you’ll feel better. Let me know.
“Photographing these Monterey Bay jellyfish was a pleasure because no matter how they moved and undulated they always made a perfect visual composition. It’s like photographing Marilyn Monroe who had an ongoing love affair with the camera.”
Here are two photographs of a beach in Florianopolis, Brazil. Florianopolis now is what Rio de Janeiro was forty years ago: safe, carefree, affordable, friendly, lush and beautiful. Finding “undiscovered” places in my wide travel experience is what I like to share with people.
